Rent a Villa to Vacation on St. Croix!
We arrived on July 4th, so the fireworks may have been a coincidence. This was our 3rd trip to St. Croix, now that retirement isn't that far away, I'm certain we'll be back. It was nice to see the island is recovering from the hurricanes of 2017, but there is still a lot of work to do. Don't let that scare you from coming down. Limetree Villa in Villa Madeleine was just what my wife and I needed. The extra room is set up like a den, with a private bath. I stay up late, and was able to read, watch tv, and swim, all without disturbing her sleep. The villa comes fully equipped. Books, tv's, pool, towels, washer and dryer, nice comfortable mattress, coffee maker, and the key feature - a nice KitchenAid blender for those frozen Cruzan rum drinks. Two other things - Charles met us at the airport, and patiently waited on us while Avis got their act together. Also - Anne with the rental company was great from start to finish with her emails and other info. We weren't needy guest, so I didn't contact her until the day before our departure. She made my request happen, with no issues or grief given from her...5-STARS! We have had a couple rough/busy years since our last vacation. We were both ready to relax, and Limetree helped make this a nice 11 days away from work.

Exceptional and everything you need for a long getaway ...Just the two of us for 10 days. It was perfect getaway. Very quiet and all the amenities you need. The villa was spacious, clean and comfortable. The grounds people were friendly and we enjoyed being on the east side of the island. Close to several public beach spaces and a 15 min drive to local market/grocery for in house cooking along with with some local restaurants close by. Highly recommend and we would stay again.!

Heaven On Earth…We have been visiting St. Croix since 2009, and we love it more and more each year. This year we stayed at Limetree Villa for two weeks in January-February. Wow! This villa was close to perfection! It had everything we needed for two weeks of tropical relaxation. We loved the heated pool! After a 3-mile walk to Point Udall, it was the perfect place to cool off. Also, just lying in the sun on the outside chaises was pretty sweet, too. The villa was tastefully furnished and felt like home right away. We enjoyed the location to the wonderful restaurants on the East End of St. Croix, and the short, beautiful drive into Christiansted was always a treat. If you have never been to St. Croix, you are missing a quirky, friendly, beautiful place! And Limetree Villa will make you feel like you belong. My only regret is that it sleeps only two people. We love to share this amazing island with friends and family. But when it's just the two of us, we will be back to Limetree Villa in a flash!

A very relaxing way to spend a week in the Caribbean.
Situated atop the highest point in the Villa Madeleine development there are beautiful views of the Caribbean and Buck Island. This was our second trip to St Croix and we prefer the east end for it's quiet beaches, hiking trails, and laid back atmosphere. Anne's attentiveness to all aspects of our reservation and stay was greatly appreciated. When Avis left us at the airport w/o a car, Anne quickly found a car through centerline. In the end we didn't need the car but having someone available to help navigate the local scene was comforting. Charles took good care of us at the airport and located a taxi to take us to the Lime Tree where he met us to ensure we understood the layout of the Villa and how to reach him if there were any problems. Even though Charles was always close by, there were not problems during our week-long stay. The villa was clean and well maintained with every amenity we needed. It was great having a private pool and a grill for steaks. Each room in Lime Tree has an A/C unit, but we didn't run the A/C during our stay. The gentle breezes off the ocean were enough to cool the villa day and night. We highly recommend TLC kitchen (casual and close by at the bottom of the hill), a hike to the top of goat mountain where you can look west and see both coasts of the island, hike to the tidal pools (make sure you know how to enter the tidal pools from the beach in case there isn't someone there to show you the path), and both sunrise and night sky at Point Udall (just a 5 minute ride by car). We could go on and on about the many outdoor activities to enjoy on St Croix.

Perfect little villa.
Has everything you need. Million dollar view of Buck Island. The villa itself was amazing. Perfect size, perfect patio with our own little pool. When we weren't roaming the island we were on the patio enjoying the pool, the views, the breeze and the sun. Beds were comfy, bathrooms were spacious, nice large family room. We will definitely be return customers.

The Villa was everything advertised and more. Modern amenities, great property management, and friendly folks assisting us with coordinating our stay. The villa was great. We are looking at scheduling our next visit already.

Who doesn't need a break from winter's cold and the hustle-bustle of work? After a long, tiring travel day, we were met by a smiling Charles, who escorted us right to our villa's door. With one turn of the knob, we entered the villa and became fixated on a most pleasing and relaxing view of the ocean and Buck Island. Charles must've seen our hypnotized faces, because he paused the villa tour to let us absorb what our tired eyes espied...ahhh! After setting our luggage out, getting acquainted with the layout, and checking out the pool, we realized how hungry we were. A trip right down the hill to Duggan's Reef for dinner was so convenient and our delicious fresh fish cooked to perfection. After chatting with Frank Duggan, the owner, we coincidently realized he and my husband graduated from the same Massachusetts college around the same time! Small world! The next morning we went right back down the hill to TLC Kitchen where we had breakfast (and returned almost every morning)! You can almost smell the fresh baked bread drift up the hill to the villa! Delicious breakfasts, hearty, large helpings, moderately priced, and friendly staff. During our stay we explored the easternmost point, Point Udall and took lots of pictures! We stopped at Cramer Park where we were greeted by the only other couple on the beach, a brown hen and a friendly colorful rooster! On the south side we checked out the Divi Carina Resort, but each time we left our romantic little hilltop villa, we looked forward to coming back. It had everything we needed and if relaxation is a must on your list, this villa delivers! Some days we just hung out on the deck and sat by the pool, reading, sunning, eating…why leave? In fact, we're still asking ourselves that question? I would definitely recommend this villa for the comfortable surroundings, the upscale decor, the comfortable bed, the awesome shower, the privacy of the pool and deck and that wonderful the view! One week is simply not enough! Thank you, Anne, for guiding us through the villa rental process and car rental. It was an absolute pleasure working with you!
